Lombok discovery

Located just east of Bali, covering an area of 4,725 sq kms, Lombok is indeed as yet a largely undiscovered paradise. The natural landscape and the traditional way of life has remained unchanged for hundreds of years.

Whether you’re staying on the Gili islands or on Lombok itself we have a variety of full one day tours. These will give you a true insight into the natural beauty and diverse culture of Lombok.

All our Lombok discovery tours include pick up and drop off at your hotel by air conditioned car/mini bus, return boat if you are departing from the Gili islands and an informative experienced English speaking guide. We also include entrance fees into national parks and temples where applicable and village donations. This way you have no hidden extras. The only thing we do not include is lunch as we find our guests prefer to make their own choices.

Treks & Hikes

For those of us seeking real adventure and somewhat of a challenge then you’ve come to the right country. Indonesia offers you a lot of treks and hikes. On both Bali and Lombok you find mighty volcanos. Climbing these to their summits rewards you with stunning sunsets, sunrises and views over the Indonesian islands.

For example Mount Rinjani on Lombok is an active volcano and rises to a height of 3,726 meters, making it the second highest volcano in Indonesia. From the summit you will be able to see Bali and the Gili islands on the North-West side of Lombok.

Mount Batur in Bali is rising 1717 metres above sea level. The hike to the top only takes around 2 hours. Here you will be rewarded with majestic views over Lake Batur as the sky overwhelms you with a myriad of golden hues.
